Abstract
Exposure to synthetic environmental chemicals (e.g., DDT and its metabolites, especially p,p`-DDE, alkylphenol ethoxylates, PCBs and dioxins) produces reproductive problems in a variety of vertebrate species via endocrine mechanisms.
