Abstract
Aim: Dravet Syndrome (DS) is a severe epileptic and developmental encephalopathy causing drug-resistant seizures and developmental delay; this report presents two infant cases and evaluates CBD as adjunct therapy. Materials and Methods: Clinical case details, genetic testing (SCN1A) and treatment response were recorded and monitored. Results: Cannabidiol (CBD) added to regimens provided improved seizure control in refractory cases, with noted adverse effects including somnolence and GI upset. Conclusion: CBD may be beneficial for seizure control in DS but requires careful monitoring and further research on pediatric dosing.
