Abstract
With this issue, Pharmacognosy Communications enters into its fourth year. In our first 3 years of publication, Pharmacognosy Communications has published 11 review articles, 99 original research studies and 25 short communications at an average of 8.4 published manuscripts per issue. We strive for publication of high quality studies as is reflected but our acceptance rate, which is approximately 35 % each year. Thus, we have established a quality journal and undertake to continue to maintain and improve this quality. This policy will ultimately benefit our authors, as we strive to establish a strong impact factor.
